INTRODUCTION

The statement of the scientific problem, its relevance, its connection with the most important tasks to be solved, the importance for the development of a particular field of science or practical activity. The introduction should contain the information that will allow a reader to understand and assess the findings of the study presented in the article without additional reference to other literary sources. In the introduction the author also identifies the problems that have not been solved in previous studies and are to be solved in this article. In addition, the introduction expresses the main idea of the publication, which differs significantly from present-day representations of the problem, complements or deepens already known approaches to it; attention is drawn to the introduction of new facts, conclusions, recommendations and regularities in scientific circulation. The purpose of the article follows from the statement of the scientific problem.

LITERATURE REVIEW

It is necessary to describe the main (recent) studies and publications mainly used by the author; current views on the problem; difficulties in developing this research topic; to highlight unresolved issues within the general problem, which the article is devoted to. It is advisable to consider 20 sources and compare the views of the authors; a part of literary sources must be in English. References to the mentioned (cited) literary sources are given in the text in a form of a number in square brackets [1]. The description of the sources is provided only in the reference list in order of mention in the text; footnotes are not allowed to be used for this purpose. Exceptions are references to official documents, laws, regulations, standards, etc., which should be given in footnotes.

MATERIALS AND METHODS

This section describes the process of organizing the experiment, the techniques used, the equipment used; the detailed information about the object of research is given; the sequence of the research conduct is provided and the choice of methods used (observation, testing, experiment, laboratory experience, analysis, simulation, study and generalization, etc.) is justified.

RESEARCH RESULTS

In this part of the article the systematic author's analytical and statistical material should be presented. Research results should be described in sufficient detail so that a reader can trace its stages and evaluate the validity of the conclusions drawn by the author. This is the main section, the purpose of which is to prove a working hypothesis (hypotheses) by analyzing, generalizing and explaining the data. The results are confirmed if necessary by illustrations (tables, graphs, figures) that represent the original material or evidence in a short-hand form. It is important that the illustrated information does not duplicate the information that has already been mentioned in the text. The results presented in the article should be compared with previous works in this field created both by the author and other researchers. Such a comparison will additionally reveal the novelty of the study and make it objective. Research results should be summarized, but, at the same time, provide enough information to evaluate the findings. It should also be justified why these data were chosen for the analysis.

All names, signatures and structural elements of graphs, tables, schemes, etc. are drawn up in Russian and English.

CONCLUSIONS

The conclusion contains a brief statement of research results. The main thoughts of the main part of the article are summed up in this section. The repeated material should be better formulated with new phrases, which differ from those stated in the main part of the article. In this section it is necessary to compare the results obtained with the purpose indicated at the beginning of the work. In the conclusion the results of the comprehension of the topic are summed up; conclusions, generalizations and recommendations arising from the work are made, their practical importance is emphasized. In addition, the main directions for further research in this area are determined. It is recommended to include the attempts to forecast the development of the issues discussed in the concluding part.

In September 2016, MGSU National Research University became member of CrossRef platform-based Publishers International Linking Association, Inc. (PILA)

Original papers published in the Journal are designated unique DOI (Digital Object Identifier) identifiers for easy metadata and location search for full-text materials. DOI is a web-based scientific content identification system.

CrossRef is an independent entity established in 2000 by the scientific publishers group initiative. The technology design was initiated by Wiley Publishers. The DOI Linking Technology is the property of The CrossRef Agency.

Publishers International Linking Association (PILA) is the CrossRef administration structure, aggregator, DOI registrar and the international scientific paper and metadata database service (www.crossref.org). As of today, the database contains dozens of millions of scientific papers.

This technology provides the international CrossRef Platform for convenience of presenting the Journal information, including the scientific paper full-text web-versions to the world scientific community in a proper way. In addition, it provides an easy search for scientific information for highest scientific awareness of the authors of the published papers. For example, if a Russian author's paper is designated a DOI and if the same is referenced in a foreign colleague's publication in a journal, which is registered with Web of Science and Scopus, such paper will automatically find its way into these databases and be designated a unique scientific citation index.

All journals indexed in the Web of Science Scientific Citation Index Database and most of the periodicals indexed in the Scopus International Database have unique DOI’S.

The DOI designation is an evidence of the highest scientific quality and an essential component of an effective scientific communication, networking and exchange.

Registered with the RF Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Communications (ROSKOMNADZOR). Registration Certificate ПИ №ФС77-63119 of 18 September 2015 (supersedes earlier Registration Certificates ПИ №ФС77-47141 of 3 November 2011 and ПИ № ФС 77-21435 of 30 June 2005).

Aims and Goals

Goals and Objectives of our Journal

  1. Unique publication media for the research findings by MGSU researchers, their Russian and international colleagues.
  2. Highlights of the most challenging upcoming trends in the civil engineering science and practice, theory and history of urban planning and architectural art.
  3. Unique networking and interfacing opportunity for researches from different regions and countries.

The Editorial Board keeps searching for new contributing authors whilst involving researchers from partner universities of the International Association of Institutions of Higher Education in Civil Engineering, colleagues employed with universities of technology and civil engineering in CIS states and worldwide, leading researchers of research institutes, specialists and top executives of design and construction companies with our publication activities.

Materials to be considered for publication in our Journal topic sections include insights, research papers, scientific overviews and reviews, as well as scientific publication feedback articles on construction and architecture fundamentals and applications.

A scientific article is a finalised and copyrighted work describing results of an original scientific study (a primary scientific article) or relating to reviews of the scientific articles in the same domain published earlier (scientific overviews). In primary scientific articles, authors provide essential details of their completed studies in such a form as is most convenient for other scientific community members to assess such studies, simulate experiments, as well as assess the authors’ reasoning and conclusions. The purpose of scientific overviews is to provide a summary, an analysis, an assessment, a general overview or a synopsis of an earlier published information (primary scientific publications). Normally, a scientific article combines these two types of scientific texts, including an overview and an original scientific work.

The Information section is intended for publishing the materials on R&D and construction companies’ achievement highlights and contribution to the construction industry.

Per the RF Media Laws and the incorporation paperwork, the advertising materials relating to the construction science advanced technologies, best educational practices, newsbreaks, events, scientific conferences and trade fairs are also published in the Journal.
